Love love love this story! Could not put it down. If you are looking for a strong and graceful heroine -- this is the book for you.
Just finished reading Surviving the Truth and I liked it very much. I could relate to Laura on many levels. It is an easy read with unexpected surprises. I would definitely recommend this book.
I just finished reading the book SURVIVING THE TRUTH. It is definitely a chick book. Towards the end it had a surprise ending that I was not expecting. I thought it was a good read and an easy read.
I found this book to be very entertaining. The story progressed at a nice pace and kept you guessing until the very end. There are some parts of the dialogue that I thought should have been expressed as the character's thoughts rather than spoken words and there were some grammatical errors but overall, I really enjoyed reading this book.
What a wonderful book! I started to read it when I knew I had the time, with no interuptions. I enjoyed the way Sharon got us interested in the mother/sister picture and then went back to the missing husband drama. I loved reading the missing husband drama and learned so much about mountain rescue. I always knew that the "mother" would be explained and that was worth waiting for. It was just one great dramatic episode after another!
I was as disapointed in Betsy Haven as Laura was!! I wanted to just shake her and say, "Someone has tried to help you and your children. You deserve the scumbag with you. Have someone else take care of and love your precious children". I loved that part of the book, though, because sometimes we are disapointed in people's actions! It is caled "learning the hard way".
Can' wait for another bok by Sharon Coleman Monroe!
Fears, hopes, dreams, disappointment and realities. Life as a middle-aged woman can take many turns.
Lots of details, little too drawn out a couple times and a few typos. Nothing that takes away from a great story.
